The Alexa Toolbar Is Amazing!!
Most of you probably know that i am members of all the various webmaster forums and i waist time on all of them on a daily basis. A few weeks ago i saw a thread about the Alexa toolbar. It claimed that downloading the toolbar and viewing your websites a few times per day can increase your alexa ranking A LOT!
I have tried it out and have come to the conclusion that the alexa toolbar is INCREDIBLE!!!! My site keeps going up and up. Regardless of traffic. I think all webmasters should download the toolbar just to see if there rankings go up. My personal expirience was a triple yes!!

Yeah, just visiting your site a couple of times per day will drop your alexa ranking A LOT!
I used to tell people this and they never believed me so I guaranteed that I could drop my new site from 2 950,000 to under 100,000 in 3 months (the alexa cycle).
I got it to 87,000 by visiting myself and having 3 others visit from time to time.
It finally made it to 25k or so before I got bored and it went back up and is stil around 200k.
Alexa does is a good tool. If you don’t manipulate the rankings you will notice over time the alexa graph will most likely mimic your traffic stats graph over the same time period. It holds true for mine in many cases typically higher traffic sites.

lol hope he means down. If he is visiting and it is going up and up then he’s doing something drastically wrong!
