10 Heroes

Filed under: Industry Friends — admin @ 2:46 am

I told everybody i was going to blog about my 10 heroes so i guess its time i actually go through the misery of blogging about 10 people. If i had any self respect i would not limit myself and I would do a post entitled “My Heroes” i would not go very in depth with the people and i would probably have 200-300 people (and of course would add to it whenever the occasion arose.) If you read the little summaries about these people and want to get in touch with one of these people just shoot me an e-mail and I will get you some form of contact info.

Before #1 Is Brandy Shapiro-Babin
Brandy is incredible. She’s connected me with so many awesome people that i need to add a little thumbnail picture to the header of my blog or something. In addition to getting me on Webmasterradio (wow i sound good ~~ego) she has introduced me to a few other heroes on here. Brandy you rock!!!!

1st: Phil Hersh / My Azoogle Rep
Although I have not been an azoogle publisher for to long but I have already noticed how great of an affiliate network Azoogle is. Phil is a great guy to talk on the phone with due to the fact that he is knowledgeable about offers in addition you can actually have a great random conversation with him (We jump between the too)! He is a great guy and i look forward to making millions with/for him.

2nd Shoemoney
Shoemoney is somebody i don’t know personally but is someone who i would like to get to know in the near future. Ive been reading his blog for a while now and it truely entertains me in my photoshop class (i enjoy reading it during class)! In addition to shoemoney having an interesting blog i feel that he is truly an inspiring type of guy. Going from a salesman at sears so some baller internet guru dude. He is someone who i really want to talk to someday (i also want one of those auctionads shirts).

3rd Dan Nicol
He is 1 of the 2 millnic dudes who i really appreciate attempting to steal ideas from. Dan is so knowledgeable when it comes to anything that has to deal with PPC/CPA that i always hustle and bustle him to try and get some pointers. Since I happen to be almost as young as his kids he seems to give me some pointers and I have actually made pretty good money using his “tips.” Another thing which gives Dan Hero status is that he pays me weekly (and im a greedy kid so weekly payments rock)!

4th Cameron Olthuis
I think i got his name right. He is one of the ACS dudes who has helped me a lot with my journey into PPC/CPA marketing. Cameron is extremely smart and has a show on webmasterradio. He is def. someone who you should talk to if you have a big budget to learn.

5th Neil Patel
He’s Indian, He’s Awesome, He’s Smart, He’s got a black card (pimp)… The end

6th Jeremy Colbert
The second Millnic dude. One of those guys who you call up to attempt to steal ideas from in addition to hearing one awesome fucking accent. This guys accent is seriously awesome. Here is a copy of the millnic commercial (Goto the end and he is “Cousin jeremy” He has helped me so much in my career that i have to include him in my heroes.

7th Tony Hung
Tony is the man behing BlogHerald.com and he has shown me some truly inspirational articles/blogs. He blogs for fun but his main focus is his medical career. He has told me small bits and pieces of his work and made me feel so lucky for being alive. If i ever get sick im going to his hospital (i forget the name now).

8th Borat
My true 14year old officially shows. Borat is a truly creative original marketing ploy which has made me laugh a million times! If only i had thought of a cool movie like that!

9th Kris Jones
Kris Jones of Pepperjam search is an absolute genius. I have checked out the various services that Pepperjam offers and i truly believe that Kris and his team have truly formed a unique company which offers services all around the map. I hope to work with pepperjam when i am a bit more established.

10th Daron Babin (SEGURU)
Daron is truly one of the coolest guys i know in this industry. He and i have had in depth conversations on AIM and he has indirectly helped me on numerous occasions. He and his internet radio station keep me entertained during class! His station has also given me a great deal of PR which is also ALWAYS good! You rock daron…

11th Mike Krongel
Mike has taught me a lot in the month/month and a half that ive known him. After meeting him at adtech i have gained so much respect for his network. Mike shouldn’t have been forgotten in the unmodified version of my post but it was late and i forgot. In addition to running a great network Mike helps affiliates on the wickedfire forums (which i really thing is a nice thing to do). Without going to in depth i believe that Mr. Krongel is going to be a great dad due to the fact that he can handle me giving him a hard time (he deals with my age well lol). Enough said; mike you own!

I am sorry if i forgot you and i am pretty sure i will be adding more people. My next blog post is going to be regarding the overflowing competition in the new blockbuster offers. I feel that its like a repeat of ringtones.

Talk to yalll later

  4. What I mean is, how you track what keywords brought a sale in trough your PPC campaigns, you just attach an variable to your urls with dynamic keyword insertation, or have you developed an small in-house solution that does that and splits the profitable keywords from the keys that are notprofitable? I just thought, that could be an interesting post for the future =)

  5. Hey Harrison,

Great to meet you in San Fran, and of course it was awesome to have you step so solidly into the “Roving Reporter” role for WebmasterRadio.FM onsite during Ad-Tech. We’ve had so many people ask us about you and what your story is…which is a good thing.

Keep up the work and remember to always dot your I’s and cross your T’s.
