My Adbrite Experiment

Filed under: life — admin @ 12:55 pm

Hey,
so its a new month and i am going to be trying a few new little tasks. I believe that if i do this right i can earn a significant amount of coin and buy myself an island. I have done ppc through adwords, ysm, and ad center and want to explore the horizons of search marketing and see if i can earn money on some of the smaller/less reputable ad networks. My first “goal” is going to be utilizing the PPC services on adbrite. Because adbrite does not really let you target your ads to an exact cordinate I am a little worried on how relevant my clicks will be.

I am going to be promoting an e-mail submit offer (probably something like a “Free Iphone”) and will not even make a landing page. If i actually see a return i will give Keeb a call and he will spit out some awesome landing pages.

Since I personally am not aware of the magnitude of my project I cannot release more details because I don’t really know what I will be doing yet. We shall see :)

After adbrite I want to advertise on searchfeed.com, ask.com, and any other search/ adnetworks i can think of.
What do you think??

  1. Hey Harrison,

I’d be interested to hear if you can find success with AdBrite. So far, it’s been a money pit for me, but I haven’t tried the text links.

I’m using LookSmart for one of my campaigns and am seeing a 589% ROI. While the ROI is excellent, the profits are small since the traffic is small. I think I have to try to find more keywords, to increase traffic levels, but maintain that high ROI.

BTW - this comments box goes over the right-hand column in FireFox.
