Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:21 pm

I have been thinking about it for a while and I think i might actually buy me a macbook pro just to test the waters of having a “marvelous” Apple Computer To be honest i am kind of stunned how overpriced mac’s are but i will still probably spring for a mac.

before i buy me a mac i need your advice,
what should i do??

  1. I wouldn’t bother personally because they are overpriced, which is not to say they aren’t great of course. Another option to consider is a Dell pre loaded with ubuntu.

  3. Ofcourse you should get a mac. And if you’re worried about some windows software that you need, just get “parallels” as well. It allows you to run windows programs seamlessly side by side with your mac programs (without actually loading windows!)

Just get yourself an imac, they are priced very affordably.

  4. You should most definitely get a mac! Get MacBook Pro you can afford it otherwise MacBook is great too. You will appreciate the beauty of the FreeBSD based machine as soon star using it. I switched to mac about 6 years and never ever looked back. But I do run “parallels” for some windows based apps.

  5. You should definitely get a Mac. They are great, and if you like Ubuntu you’ll love it because it run like a very simple-to-use linux. And if you feel like springing for a Windows XP copy, you can dual install it on your Mac.

  6. Really they all have their ups and downs, your better off just trying a few linux distros, windows, and mac os and see which you like best.

Personally I like windows, mac os, and a few linux distros pretty much the same. All computers piss me off, but their ain’t no escaping them… *sigh*

  7. Getting a Mac isn’t a bad option. If you have trouble with PCs and value your time the Mac might make up for its cost by providing more ease of use.

  8. You think $1000 is too much for a MacBook?

Your time and mental health must be really cheap.
