Fire In My Area - EEEEEEK
Wow,
i just found out that their is a fire like 16 miles away from my house… The Zaca fire is close and i might have to evacuate which sucks! Well I hope we don’t evacuate but if we have to ill find a way to make a blog post about me being ok.
Also - anybody know what i should/shouldn’t pack? I’ve never been evacuated before

16 miles? Yeah, you’re fine unless there’s some serious windshift and a serious lack of competency on your BLM/fire crew’s part. I went to work at the hospital a few weeks ago and we had smoke blowing through the doors.

My guess is bottled water, tp, canned food, clothes (in plastic bags?)
