New Ringtone Marketing Policies Go In Effect 10/1/2007
Being a small network i work with flycell directly and received an E-mail from my friend/affiliate manager Daphne from flycell letting me know about the new mma marketing policies that are going into affect 10/1/07 these policies pretty much fuck us and i don’t understand the reasoning of the new rules going into affect…

(I believe that this is the only changed rule): As of October 1, 2007, affiliates will not be permitted to host a “choose your carrier page.” All advertising must point to a page hosted by the Advertiser by October 1, 2007.

This IS really messed up. I never like to see restrictions of this kind. I don’t mind regulations though. Structure is good and needed in all corners on online marketing; however, this one new MMA rule/law is ludicrous - just plane stupid. Who’s palm is getting greased over this new restriction, hhmmm?
