the week from hell

Filed under: HELL — admin @ 9:46 pm

hey guys,
haven’t blogged this week because it’s been one of those weeks. I decided to treat myself to business premier on my way back from France and I am really glad I did that/one nice experience (pics of the plane here) After coming back to Santa Barbara I was laying down on my bed when I heard something fall; I looked down and to my disbelief I had become one of the unlucky people whose laptop screens has actually CRACKED!

I called apple support and they were total assholes so I waited till Tuesday and went to ‘Mac Mechanic’ here in Santa Barbara. After being informed of the bad news; I decided to buy a new macbook pro which is actually faster than the old one but not the top of the line model like the one I had before. I bought myself a 15inch 2.5ghz core 2 duo, 2gb of ram (and they took another 2gb from my old cracked screen mac so 4gb total), and a 250gb hard drive, and 512mb graphics card (my old one had a 256). Only $2500, vs. the 4,000something I spent on my old now broken one which is less pimped up compared to this one. I’m also kind of happy to be gone from a 17inch laptop, way to big.

woops

nice!

but I got a new one so I’m all good :p. I really didn’t get anything done Sunday-Tuesday having to work on an extremely slow old Vaio laptop of mine.
I’m off,

Untouched Niche’s Here In Europe

Filed under: Ideas — admin @ 6:39 am

Hey Guys,
I have been doing some research and stuff while over here since my IP is European till tomorrow :( I have started to notice tons of websites with unsold inventory where you could probably get traffic CHEAP. When browsing on facebook I decided to click the “Ad-Board” I saw NO advertisements. Than I went to a bunch of myspace support sites, tons of Red Cross Non Profit ads. I know this is kind of a half-assed post but I am giving you guys the info I really shouldnt: International Content Network has a TON of potential.

Now, Go make millions

Co-Hosted The Shoemoney Show Last Night, Pretty Cool

Filed under: Press — admin @ 5:16 am

Hey Guys,
Last night I had the ability to co-host the shoemoney show from Monte Carlo. It was a pretty good experience. The first guest we had on the show was Francois from B2Evolution.net which is a blogging platform like Wordpress. I think I might try it out. Than we had a guy named Thor whose project is TopAffiliateProgram, I was impressed with all the sponsorships he’s doing but think he’s going with the E-book approach, something I personally don’t really support. I didn’t really open up till towards the end since I was a bit nervous but eventually my heart stopped pounding haha.

I have some surprises coming out in the next few weeks in re. to radio etc (hint) and I hope you guys will be excited. I am flying back to Cali on Friday and am not looking forward to it!

Ill try and do one more blog post from Monaco if not whatever.

How Should I Go About This?

Filed under: about harrison — admin @ 11:53 pm

Hey All,

I am looking to grow my company and I want to ask my readers for some advice. Don’t worry I’m not 100% going to use your advice and I am asking tons of people so tell me which option I should take in expanding my business. I really don’t know.

A Should I establish my businesses infrastructure (Which I know/notice is lacking every day) through the standard brick-and-mortar office space type business with like 3 full time employees who drive to work every day (A Designer, Programmer, and someone who can help me with writing content, and ppc).

or
B Should I grow my company without office space and just get people contracted for my company working maybe full time or maybe part time from home throughout the country? I Have had trouble in the past with ‘employees’ not doing what they should do/totally slack off and screw me (they probably will read this lol sup guys?). Although I’ve had those experiences I am having now/have had great expieriences with other people so I have mixed views of it. It would probably cost me a little bit less but could also cause more of a risk for me because of someone just grabbing my campaigns etc and screwing me :(.

What should I do, post it in a comment or something? Also next week I’m going to Monte Carlo to see my grandpa for a week. It should be pretty sick and I’m really excited! I’ll be sure to take some pics and stuff ok? I am really excited to actually leave and go somewhere not in this kinda-not-really thriving country!

I am cruising over to my moms house to do homework.

Recap Of My Recent Travels

Filed under: Press, Search Engine Marketing, about harrison — admin @ 6:19 pm

Hey Guys,
I’m not really busy the moment I arrived back into Santa Barbara and Havent had a chance to recap my recent travels…

I was in Las Vegas not attending the affiliate summit but I had some meetings and I really wanted to get a chance to meet my CX Digital Affiliate manager Debrani. I stayed at a ridiculous suite at the Venetian and had a great time. Although they gave me trouble when I was checking in (They wouldn’t accept my amex because I wasn’t 21, it took a few minutes to convince/talk to them) that was no where near the amount of trouble the Wynn gave me for my age. When I was walking with my friend Larby, and my CX Digital affiliate manager Debrani at the Wynn I was pretty thirsty so i walked up to a little cafe/bar and asked the bartender for a glass of water, He replied “Are You 21?” I replied “No” and he than told me “I can’t be in the casino alone etc.” He refused to give me water even after I told him I wasnt alone and was with Debrani who IS over 21 etc. They than carded Debrani for her to get me a glass of water, Vegas is pathetic in terms of age.
On Saturday Night i attended the Affiliate Dinner with Steve, One of the AffSpy guys. I went as “Paul Borque” (The Uberaffiliate) because he wasn’t in Vegas yet and I wasn’t cool enough to get invited etc. :P After that dinner me and my friend Larby hung out for a while and we just checked out vegas (As people under 21, it sucks).

Sunday was pretty sick since that was when I got to meet Debrani and when I got to go to the CX Digital Party At The Palms. I don’t know what I should blog about and what I Shouldn’t (I don’t want to get you guys in trouble) Lol BUT I will just sum it up in a few words: FUCKING AWESOME

I liked Vegas and had a pretty productive stay etc. Once I got back from Vegas I had two days to catch up on stuff and was than back on the road for SMX WEST.

I got into SMX west on Wednesday Night which was kind of weird since it was the first time I showed up for a conference right smack in the middle of it. It was pretty cool hanging out with a lot of Industry Leaders who I have met and chilled with at other conferences, I don’t see them to often ;). I also got to meet some people whom I have talked to in the past etc like Shoemoney and some people from various companies like Doubleclick etc. It was really funny when I was checking into the Hyatt Santa Clara (which is a piece of shit hotel by the way) I saw a few people from CX Digital walk by me which was totally ironic since I was 1. Wearing a CX shirt and 2. Had no clue that they were going to be at SMX.

While chilling in the bar of the hotel with a lot of people Neil Patel came up with this genius idea to actually go to Ihop for breakfast. After about 30 minutes of drunken laughs (I wasn’t drunk, sucks) we got up and hustled over to Ihop. A lot of fun shit went down but to sum it up I have to tell you guys what Jay (forgot his last name) did. This guy Jay was pretty hammered and ordered 12 eggs sunny side up. He ate them all with a whole bottle of Tobasco on top. He than had a bit of a run in with the cops lol but I left in my cab when the cops started being complete dicks.

Thursday Morning was kind of harsh waking up at like 9am since I ended up going to sleep at like 5 am and had to go speak. I was on the panel “Generation Google: A Talk With Todays Teens” and got to talk about how me, and other teens use search engines like google, yahoo, and msn. Although I wasn’t able to really talk about how I do Search Marketing/How I Promote To “Todays Teens” I enjoyed speaking on a panel and hope to do more :). If you want to read more about my panel you can check out The Live Blog Of My Panel

Well I’m going to go do another blog post on how I’m going to elite retreat BUT,
Later
