How to make money on Facebook with Local Ads

Filed under: Ideas — admin @ 2:50 pm

Not talking about affiliate ad network offers, but making money on facebook advertising serving the thousands of business that are in your neighborhood. Most of the dentists, lawyers, roofing contractors, cosmetic surgeons and other professional service firms are spending a few thousand a month on yellow page advertising. Most of that money is flushed down the toilet, handed over to internet scammers. If you want to scam, by the way, read my post about being a seo consultant. But I digress. Here’s how to do it on Facebook:

  • Sign up a couple local businesses, charging $500 a month for advertising on Facebook. That will buy you enough traffic to dominate, Facebook for your client’s geography– more on that in a minute. Avoid folks who sell products– they must be local. Also avoid real estate, insurance or financial offers, where there is a lot of competition. You can only make money as an affiliate doing what others don’t do.
  • Get the money up-front so you’re not having to front the cash– tell them you’re not a bank, if they complain. If you can take a credit card, even better– so you don’t have to chase them each month or play the “check is in the mail” game.
  • Set up one campaign with 5-6 ads targeted to your city on users that are 23+ years old. College kids don’t spend money on professional services. You can try out a few ads that have interest targets– but odds are that this will restrict the available traffic down to almost nothing– but try it. Bid 20 cents a click– Facebook will suggest a dollar or so, but ignore that. Spammers are not targeting this finely, so you can get the traffic much cheaper than them, as well as much cheaper than Google PPC. Set up subids in your tracking urls so you know which ad drove the click and conversion in your Google Analytics (which you’ve installed on the client’s site).
  • Set up a landing page just for the client– it can live on a subdomain of your site or the client’s site. If the client can’t get you access to their site or if it’s a pain, you just host the page yourself. Put the phone number HUGE on that landing page. If you don’t know how to do landing pages or are lazy, just send traffic to the client’s homepage– but it won’t convert as well or be as trackable.
  • You must have an offer or phone number so you can track conversion. You can have a special with a coupon code of “FACEBOOK” or require that they mention they saw the ad on Facebook. Thus, when prospects call or come into the office, they are telling your client that your facebook advertising campaigns are effective. If you want to really hit a home run, get a phone number that is unique to the web– BlitzLocal does this, as does Google Voice, which is GrandCentral rebranded.
  • Sit back and prepare to be amazed: There is so little competition on Facebook for legitimate ads that it’s easy to dominate for Denver liposuction or Boulder massage, even if you’re only targeting the city and age group. Your client will be calling you soon because his or her friends will be telling them that they see them all over Facebook– plus clients will be saying they saw them on Facebook!

Making money with an mcc

Filed under: Ideas, PPC, Search Engine Marketing, optimize — admin @ 5:29 pm

Hey guys, I was just thinking of some more ways for you guys to increase your revenue. Today we are going to talk about double serving ads on search engines. Basically what this means is that you want your ad to show up multiple times on Google Yahoo or any other search engine.

Double serving ads is frowned upon but there are ways to do this that will keep you under the radar. On Google one of the methods that I use involves creating a Google MCC . A MCC allows you to control multiple AdWords accounts via their MCC dashboard. Basically Google views MCC account holders as agencies PPC management companies with many clients.

Having an MCC has many advantages. The biggest for me is the ability to split up the different types of traffic I have as well as test campaigns that onto accounts for that specific purpose. I separate all of my content network campaigns, search campaigns and test campaigns onto their own account. If a campaign I have on a test account starts to perform I will optimize it a bit and then move it over to my “
good” campaign’(s) account. The reason I do this is because Google looks at the account history of the different accounts and if I put a test campaign on my “good” account and it gets slapped it will affect the entire account. It is also much easier to stay organized if you organize your campaigns this way.

Another thing you can do is double serve ads. In order to do this simply copy your campaign over to another account and point it to a similar landing page. If you were promoting ringtones and your display url read “rockingringtones.com” and you wanted to double serve this I would recommend buying the domain ringtonesrocking.com or really any other different domain and then hosting the same or a similar landing page onto this new domain. Then simple change your display url on the copied campaign and you are ready to go. Your ad(s) will now be displaying multiple times for the keywords you are bidding on.

Free Unique Offer Idea For You Guys!

Filed under: CPA Networks, CPA Offers, Ideas, PPC, Search Engine Marketing — admin @ 1:22 am

Hey guys,
I have been e-mailed the question of ‘what to promote’ numerous times and I have had this unique idea for promoting Affiliate program affiliate programs through PPC but in a more honest opinion type of matter which I want to do and am probably an idiot for giving away, when you get rich just e-mail me and I’ll give you my paypal ;)

I briefly thought about an idea similar to the one I’m giving to you guys like 6 months ago when I referred a lot of people to Millnic Media and made low $x,xxx off that 6% commission. I wanted to start promoting Millnic on the affiliate blogs by buying advertising but decided not to when I noticed they already were on the spots that I had hoped to approach, so I never did anything with until recently.

Just a few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me for a signup link to Incentaclick and I gave it to him happily. I than forgot about it until last week where i had earned over $2,000.00 from just one friend, I have now signed up one more person and am continuing to get more people signed up under me for as many networks as i can decide.

So This Is What You Can Do To Make Money
Make a landing page that has like 3-4 affiliate networks logos on the page with a rating you give them (Give an honest opinion, don’t rate the one that pays 5% out a 10/10 and the one that pays 2% a 3/10 the 2% one will probably make you more money). Write honest reviews for each of the networks, if you haven’t done much with that specific network just go look at their main website and see if you can figure out what to write from that. Once you do this collect a bunch of affiliate marketing relevant keywords; some that I would gather would be Affiliate Network Names (They can be the ones on your landing page or competing networks, both work), Big Blog names like shoemoney and johnchow etc, and last but not least use content network on some of those blogs (have not tested this but it is something I plan to test when I get to promoting networks through ppc)

Let me remind you as I don’t think I explained myself correctly. I have not promoted any affiliate networks affiliate programs through the methods I have suggested yet but I will be working on it when I am not swamped to the brim. I noticed that this is a niche with money to be made and I figured I’d blow it and let you guys make tons off of it instead.

Heres Where I Benefit From This, Here are MY affiliate links from a few networks you should sign up if you haven’t: Incentaclick - Ask For Debrani Copeac - Ask For Danielle Neverblueads - Ask For Victoria Azoogleads
RocketProfit Millnicmedia Pepperjam Network XY7 and HydraMedia

Tell me what you guys think of my idea,

Has anybody ever tried this?

Filed under: Ideas — admin @ 1:32 am

I have been thinking about a way to monetize digg. What do you guys think about making a cool landing page advertising a specific offer etc and trying to get it to the homepage of digg. Although it would obviously get buried/people would say it is spam it would probably make some bank for the time that it is on the homepage. Sorry to post 2x within a 5 minute time period but it just came to me and i felt the urge to blog about it,
